AMR GUNNISON/CRESTED BUTTE ALL MEMBER TOUR AND MEET
Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th
This scenic driving tour is designed to bring Alpine Mountain Region’s members together from across its vast territory for scenic drives, socializing and some fun group activities.
Those coming from the Front Range will depart from Porsche Colorado Springs after a light breakfast. Those coming from Southwest will depart from the Durango Walmart after a light breakfast.
Traveling over Cottonwood Pass and Wolf Creek Pass, respectively, the two groups will enjoy pre-planned drives with grand Colorado vistas until they meet at Three Rivers Outfitters in Almont for lunch. Following lunch, participants will be free to explore Gunnison at their leisure. Saturday evening we will gather in the hotel conference room for Happy Hour, sponsored by Big Mission Automotive, followed by a catered dinner from Mario’s Pizza & Pasta.
Comfort Inn hotel rates are $179 + tax per night pay at the hotel. You may also stay additional nights (before or after event) for the same rate.
Sunday morning presents a handful of optional activities in Gunnison/Crested Butte, including a group drive to Crested Butte and a ride up the Silver Queen Express Scenic Lift.
Preliminary Itinerary:
- Saturday 7:30am: Meet at Porsche COS and Durango Walmart for a light breakfast and safety brief prior to departure.
- Saturday 1pm: BBQ Lunch at Three Rivers Outfitters in Almont.
- Saturday afternoon: explore Gunnison, check in at hotel and rest.
- Saturday 6:00pm: Happy Hour at the Comfort Inn
- Saturday 7:00pm – 10:00pm: Catered Dinner (Mario’s) at Comfort Inn
- Sunday 9:00am: Select from a handful of activities in Gunnison/Crested Butte. Alone, or with friends, the day is yours to explore all activities aside from group tour are informal and at your leisure.

- River Rafting (starting at $68 per person)
- Group Drive to Mt. Crested Butte: Meet at 9:00am in hotel parking lot for safety brief) departs at 9:30a (optional Silver Queen Express Lift ride $41, $36 for children 5-12 and age 65+)
