Slip and Slide Strikes Back

JeffCo Stadium

About this event

Slip and Slide Strikes Back!

Location:  JeffCo Stadium Parking Lot - 500 Kipling St, Lakewood, CO

Saturday May 10, 2025

Notice this is a new location!! We are using the Parking Lot on the north side of the JeffCo Stadium.

Please enter from the North using the West 6th Ave Frontage Road (this is a one-way road that you will turn onto from Kipling).

The new location also immediately borders a residential neighborhood, so we will need to be cognizant of noise levels. We do not yet have established decibel level limits, but we will be taking the first few events at this location to establish what limits would be appropriate. As a rule of thumb, OEM exhaust systems are likely acceptable while aftermarket exhaust is likely too loud.  Also, no smoking, no drugs and no alcohol since this is school property.

By the way, autocross is a huge social event and a great time to meet new club members and visit with friends. If you are new to Autocross, or just want to improve your skills, we will have instructors that can ride along with you and help you with the course.

If you can volunteer to assist the chair in setting up the course and other activities to make this a successful event please contact us!

Entrance Gate and Registration will be open from 7:30am to 8:30am - Please do not be late.

Event Co-Chairs:  Chris Sulley cjsulley@comcast.net and Scott Pedram scott@ssmail.us

Registrar:Vicki Cox-Jones vickijns@gmail.com

  • Autocross Season Scoring and Rules

  • Your scored points for an event are calculated by giving the driver with fastest time for a class 1000 points. Each successive driver in the same class gets a percentage of 1000 points based on the formula (Drivers Time / Fastest Class Time) x 1000..
  • Only the fastest runs of the day are scored.
  • You must score points in at least 4 events per season in a single car in a single class to qualify for the season championship.
  • You can compete in more than one class, but you can only qualify for season championship points in one class.
  • If an event gets cancelled, the minimum number of events to qualify (4) will stay the same.
  • Points cannot be transferred to a different class.
  • Class standings are determined by the points total from each driver's 4 best events.
  • In the event of a tie in point totals, the season average score (average of the driver's best 4 events) will be used to determine the season championship. If there is a tie in the season average scores as well, then the championship will be determined by the highest average score from the best 5 events.
